Vicks plant is a small shrub that grows upright and spreads horizontally by growing new stems. Grows to about 2 feet tall.
Small light green leaves with scalloped edges. They are covered in tiny hairs that give them a fuzzy texture and appearance. The younger leaves grow at the top of the stems from the center.
Small light purple flowers grow on long spikes when in bloom.
Followed by dark-colored pods containing seeds.

Vicks plant has a strong and pleasant camphor or menthol aroma (think Vick’s VapoRub). Many enjoy boiling the leaves and inhaling the steam for clearing the sinuses. You can also place fresh cut stems near the shower.
