Aloe ‘Blue Elf’ is a compact, clumping hybrid aloe (Aloe humilis and Aloe arborescens) distingusiable with its ornamental foliage and winter flowering. The plant forms dense rosettes of narrow, blue-green leaves with fine marginal teeth, typically reaching 12 to18 inches in height and gradually spreading through offsets. In winter to early spring, it produces upright inflorescences bearing tubular orange flowers that attract hummingbirds and other pollinators.
