Agave lophantha ‘Quadricolor’ is a small agave that grows to 2 feet tall and wide.
The leaves are very vibrant. Light green stripes go down the middle, surrounded by dark green vertical stripes, which are all enclosed by yellow stripes that go down the margins of the leaves. Some leaves, especially in the wintertime, may have some reddish coloration on the outer edges of the leaves. Hence the name quadricolor.
Serrated teeth along the sides as well as sharp spines at the tip of the leaves.
Grows many offsets off of the main plant.
At the end of its life, grows a tall inflorescence with numerous flowers.
